The DMT booth at this year's Chinaplas was once again highly frequented by Chinese and international visitors.
DMT technology supports highest flexibility, highest uptime and lowest energy costs, adaptable to the film market. This engineering philosophy has been maintained since the foundation of DMT and proves now to be the only successful strategy on the market.
Despite the financial crisis the meetings with DMT sales managers showed that there still is a big interest in investing in new stretching lines. Especially in China, the production of commodity and specialty film is and will be one of the most profitable businesses, but highly dependent on technology. The time is now to invest to be ready for prospering markets when the worldwide situation normalizes again.

Successful Start-up of two 8m BOPP lines
The successful start up of the latest two BOPP projects also were of great interest: Paoyan (Taipei) and Yimei (Yiwu). Both lines are equipped with the most up-to-date technology. One of them is the TDO inlet sprocket drive. This DMT-patented system reduces the chain load significantly and results in higher uptime with lower energy and oil consumption.

MESIM®
DMT's simultaneous stretching system, MESIM® attracted a big number of film producers as this system is the most flexible and cost effective system when it comes to the production of specialty films. MD and TD ratio can be changed independently during production within minutes. The system uses known and proved technologies. This flexibility is unbeatable for the development of new film types and the production of high end specialty grades. Customers appreciate the MESIM® technology due its clear and manageable technology.
