The Tokyo’s Finetech show is one of the most important exhibitions concerning new developments in flat panel (LCD/TFT) monitor technology. TFT (thin film monitors) are made of sophisticated (highest quality and specially treated) oriented plastic films. The production of such films is only possible by special machinery. DMT’s awarded MESIM® system is a simultaneous stretching system which perfectly meets the high production requirements. During the stretching process the film surface has no contact to rolls (no scratches), in opposite to sequential stretching. The stretching process in machine and transverse direction is performed simultaneously. Therefore the film is stressed thermally and mechanically only one time. MESIM® was presented by Inokin / Marubeni and attracted big interest among the visitors. DMT wants to express deep thanks to our partners and all visitors.
