During the 7 days of the K2004, DMT is presenting its latest turnkey biax lines in operation and exposes its newest stretching technologies: multi-purpose lines, low energy biax lines and a mechanical simultaneous stretching line (MESIM) with stretching ratios adjustable during film production.
Additionally, a major headline of the opening day was the announcement of the acquisition by DMT of the worlds famous supplier of recycling systems: ARTEC, from Austria.

Foshan Dupont Hongji Film Co., Ltd is Chinas leading producer of BOPET films for packaging and specialty applications. Its two latest BOPET lines have been supplied by DMT, of which the latest was successfully commissioned by early October 2004. This 7.5m DMT line is the widest BOPET line so far in operation in China. The line also features a breakthrough extrusion technology with both the main and satellite extrusion system using twin-screw extrusion technology. An Hui Tong Feng Electronic Company Co.,Ltd.(An Hui, China), the leading BOPP capacitor film producer in China, has once again chosen DMTs latest stretching technology for its latest 5.1m BOPP capacitor line in operation.
Advanced technology supplied by DMT for the MDO (electrically heated) and the TDO (fully stainless steel - special nozzle design) has greatly contributed to the successful commissioning of this line. Moscow-based KOMUS Packaging Company is one of Russias leading producers of thermoforming packaging (OPS, PS, and PVC) with an annual consumption of 30,000 tons of imported sheets.
It recently selected DMT for the turnkey supply of a 3.6m Biax line to produce BOPS and A-PET sheets for thermoforming applications (100 - 800).
The DMT line is also designed to produce OPS films for high-shrink applications (sleeves and labels).This DMT line will be installed in Moscow region and it is the first BOPS line in Russia in years. DMTs BOPET line reaches 320m/min with one-gap MD stretching. DMTs latest BOPET line continuously operates at 320 m/min to produce co-extruded 12micron (low haze film).
DMTs band pinning technology allows high casting speed up to 100 m/min with excellent pinning quality. The MDO unit is operated with one gap stretching configuration to stretch up to 3.4. Russias first ever Biax line since the collapse of Soviet Union started on Feb. 03, 2005. The 6.6m BOPP line is the first of two lines to be delivered to Grinn Corporation, a major industrial group in the Kursk region with activities in the distribution and transport of consumer goods, including packaging goods.
In 2003, DMT was awarded this significant order for two turnkey BOPP plants (film lines + slitters + utilities), after offering the customer the most attractive equipment and know-how package, and project financing (see more on Buyer Credit...).
