DMT Booth crowded at Plastindia 2009 12.02.2009 Bewerten:
India is one of the most important regions for oriented films. With a continuously increasing living standard Indian film producers also play a leading role in the development of new films. Especially in India a key factor for success is innovative technology giving a maximum of flexibility concerning the film product range. These requirements and the local market situation perfectly meets the philosophy behind DMT's stretching lines - state-of-the-art technology and highest flexibility which can be adapted to future market requirements. The DMT booth was highly visited by important Indian and many international film producers, already existing and future customers.
Moscow Interplastica is the most important show for the plastics industry in Russia and the neighbouring CIS states. The DMT booth was highly frequented by existing and future customers. It showed sustained interest in the positive development of DMT as well as in DMT's leading film stretching technology. Currently, beside other projects in the region, DMT realizes full turnkey projects in Turkmenistan and Ukraine. In addition to highly profitable sequential solutions, once again DMT's patented simultaneous stretching system MESIM® attracted big attention as it proves the innovative spirit of DMT and the outstanding engineering skills of the team.
This year's Arabplast Show took place from 10th to 13th of January in Dubai. It proved once again that - even with financial crisis, there is a big interest in film stretching business. The presence of DMT at this show was highly appreciated and the booth very well visited by a large number of Arabic film producers, future investors and producers from abroad as well.
Since the restructuring of DMT in 2004 the company could win major projects in the Arabic area, some of them being trendsetters for the whole business concerning technology and performance.

DMT appoints Mr. Gerhard Binner as new Group CFO 24.12.2008 Bewerten:
The extraordinary good development of DMT Group, especially in the year 2008 and already foreseeable for 2009, has allowed us to win Mr. Gerhard Binner as our new Group CFO. Mr. Gerhard Binner, after studying and some first years of working experience, had joined? the management team of Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH, Siegsdorf, Germany, and become its Group CFO. Shortly after I had left the company in 1999 to become member of the Board of Pfleiderer AG, Mr. Binner followed me and became CFO and Managing Director of Pfleiderer Infrastruktur Technik GmbH and Co.KG.

DMT has been named "best exporter of the year" by Brasil - French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during gala ceremony in Sao Paulo last month.
This high-profile gathering of business elite and diplomats was hosted by French Minister of Finance, Mrs Lagarde. DMT won all 3 major contracts signed in 2008 in Brasil, with the best names in the industry, including Videolar and Tecnoval.
This is a major breakthrough and an historic milestone for the flexible packaging industry of the whole region.

After a phase of extension and re-organization, DMT could manage to become a most successful global player in supplying biax machinery and in the realization of turnkey projects. Due to this development, DMT is proud to announce that the company’s headquarter, DMT Technology GmbH, moved to a new, highly representative office building in the heart of Salzburg.

Changzhou Yuxing Electrical Insulating Materials Co., Ltd. is a film producer particularly for special BOPET film. The company is located in Changzhou Zhonglou Economic Development Zone. The area has a well developed infrastructure and economy. The DMT production line started up smoothly at the end of Oct., 2008. The official ceremony was celebrated on Nov., 6th together with high ranking government officials and customers. Up to now the line performed extremely well and has build up a complete set of sophisticated process flow. DMT and ARTEC booth crowded at Iranplast 2008 ! 17.11.2008 Bewerten:
This year's Iranplast was a full success for DMT and ARTEC. Despite the financial crisis the interest in stretching business has further increased in Iran. The country has an excellent background concerning film demand and resin supply. DMT participated at this show already for the third time. Economically, the country is prospering which was proved as DMT could negotiate and finalize several film stretching projects before and during the show. More and more also the recycling business will become a major future opportunity in the Iran plastic business.

DMT supplies advanced MESIM labline for high-tech films to Inokin - Japan ! 11.11.2008 Bewerten:
DMT and Inokin are realizing one of the world's most sophisticated film stretching projects. The lab-line operates under high-temperature (up to 400 deg C), requires a special oven design, as well as a temperature-adapted chain-track-clip-system.
The high-temperature oven is developed by Inokin - the company has vast experience in this field. The films which will be developed on this line are to be used in various technological sectors as aeronautic, industrial electronic, LCD screens and many more.
